espanolEste documento presenta los resultados de la investigacion llevada a cabo con alumnado inmigrante del continente africano, escolarizado en centros educativos del poniente almeriense. Ofrecemos unas reflexiones teoricas sobre la educacion intercultural y exponemos los objetivos y la metodologia de la investigacion. El analisis de datos se realiza teniendo encuenta los datos cuantitativos, reflejados en diferentes graficos, y los datos cualitativos recogidos en las entrevistas con el alumnado, profesorado y padres. Finalizamos formulando conclusiones, extraidas del analisis de las informaciones facilitadas por los centros y recomendamos acciones que pueden efectuar la Administracion Educativa, los Colegios y el Profesorado para favorecer la educacion intercultural. EnglishThe current study reports results from a research carried out with inmigrant students, from Africa. Subjects were students at some educational centers from the west side of Almeria. We propose some theoretical reflexions about intercultural education and we describe also the research goals and methodology. Data analysis has been performed by taking into account cuantitative data (being depicted in several figures) and cualitative data (obtained by differents interviews with students, teachers and parents). Finally, we conclude synthesizing the analysis of the information provided by the educational centers and suggesting so me actions to be performed by the Educational Administration, Schools and teachers to promote the intercultural education.
