Analyzing International Event Data: A Handbook of Computer-Based Techniques

Abstract

Provenance: This was originally part of a book-length manuscript which, like everything in the Keds project, was never published due to the lack of a commercially-viable audience. The first three chapters continue to be used, and we have now reformatted these in a stand-alone format which includes the relevant bibliographic citations, as well as converting—with considerable assistance from Krista Lombardo and support from National Science Foundation grant SES-1004414—to LaTeX. In the process, I have done some updating of the text, though this is by no means comprehensive.
