The aim of this research is to formulate the amount of congestion charge in central business district along the corridor of Malioboro, Jogjakarta and to estimate the proportion of private car which will change to city bus. The amount of the congestion charge represents the difference between perceived and actual generalized cost in traffic jam condition. In this study the congestion charge is only applied to the private passenger cars, as they are expected to shift to buses and therefore the public transport usage will be increases. The mode choice model was developed based on users preferences of service as indicated by travel attributes. The logit binomial model was used to formulate the individual behavior based on stated preference data from passenger car users in Malioboro, Jogjakarta. The model predicts the probability of choosing a particular mode of transportation. Based on the analysis, this research which used a congestion charge of Rp 4,500.00, and the different of city bus headway of 6.0 minutes, the different of walking time to the bus stop of 7,50 minutes, so as resulted a 54.16% of the user proportion of private car which will change to city bus.
