Abstract

Abstract What is language revival? In the narrow sense, which is used in this entry, it means the attempt to reclaim a language that is no longer spoken as a mother tongue, for example, Hebrew and Kaurna, the latter being an Aboriginal language in Adelaide, South Australia.
