Abstract The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP), the world's largest and most influential organization dedicated to personality and social psychology, was founded in 1976. SPSP has grown to more than 5,000 members, predominantly from North America but with significant international representation from Europe and Asia as well. Although most of SPSP's members are personality or social psychologists, SPSP also counts among its members individuals from most other disciplines of psychological science.
