Myths of the archaic state: evolution of the earliest cities, states, and civilizations
Abstract
Norman Yoffee Michigan Universitesi Antropoloji ve Yakın Doğu Çalışmaları bölümünde görevli akademisyendir. “Archaeological Theory: Who Sets the Agenda?” (Andrew Sherratt ile birlikte, Cambridge University Press, 1993), “The Collapse of Ancient States and Civilizations” (George L. Cowgill ile birlikte, University of Arizona Press, 1988) eserlerini yazmıştır. “Journal of the Economic and Social History of the Orient and Cambridge World Archaeology” dergisinin editörüdür.
