Abstract

ÖZETİnsanoğlu eski çağlardan beri yaşadığı çevreyi anlama çabası içerisinde olmuştur. Bu nedenle daima çevresindeki varlıkları anlamlı kılmaya çalışmıştır. İnsanlar dağların, ovaların, göllerin, taşların, bitkilerin vb. oluşumlarını ya da varlıklarını kendilerince açıklayabilmek için, çeşitli efsaneler anlatmışlar ve bunların birer kültür mirası olarak gelecek kuşaklara ulaşmasını sağlamışlardır.Bu çalışmada Anadolu efsanelerinde Türk insanının bazı gölleri (Tortum, Çıldır ve Tödürge ) algılayış biçimi, kültür coğrafyası açısından incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Efsane, mekan, coğrafya, kültür, göl. ABSTRACTMan has tried to understand the characteristics of the place where he lives, throughout the ages. Therefore, he has made efforts to make what he sees around meaningful. People have told legendary tales in order to explain the formation and existence of mountains, plains, lakes, stones, vegetables etc. and made it available for the future generations to make use of them as cultural heritage.In this study, the way the Turkish people have perceived the lakes called Tortum, Çıldır and Tödürge in Anatolian legends is examined.Key Words: Legend, place, geography, cultur, lake.
