Abstract

World-famous neurobiologist Jean-Pierre Changeux here bridges inter-disciplinary boundaries to present an extraordinarily wide-ranging synthesis of current knowledge about the human brain. He presents his radical hypothesis that there is no 'mind' in man - nothing psychic - but only neurons, synapses, electricity and chemistry.
