Computational and Text Analysis Methods Natural Language Processing Techniques Topic Modeling

Abstract

Mitrofanova, A.S.Shimorina The paper deals with the experimental results of topic modeling performed on the Russian LiveJournal Corpus with the help of TopicMiner tool based on LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation). Our data allowed to form the set of topics related to the posts of LJ users, and to describe the main types of semantic relations within topics. The results of our research can be explained from the point of view of the theory of lexical functions, frame semantics and construction grammar. Semantic analysis of topics reveals dynamic processes in language perception of Russian LJ users.
