Abstract The Bronze Age can be characterised by an unprecedented increase in craft activity. One of these was the production of bone, ceramics, and textiles, three contrasting materials that became widespread in this period. This article discusses the production of these materials separately, starting with its various types. It then differentiates the kinds of ceramics, textiles, and worked bone that was produced in various European regions and during the different periods of the Bronze Age. The article also demonstrates how these materials were produced and how the materials for their production were selected. It concludes with a study of their connection to other craft products.
