Journalism must not be observed only through the professional category point of view, as it plays with three kinds of actors: the peers, the sources and the public. Each one of such instances obeys its own logic, but it is the relation among them that contributes for the construction of the media discourse regarding to the current reality. The research in journalism must take into account the following challenge: to think, simultaneously, over the cut among these instances (peers, sources, public), intrinsically autonomous, and the sewing of their relations, which constantly connects them and in an increasingly way. The article studies each one of these instances to evoke the relations among them and, in sequence, the generalized inter-relation among these three ones.
