Abstract

This is the second of two articles describing a proposed framework for the evaluation of facilities for cyclists, based on the framework used in the U.K. for the evaluation of trunk-road proposals. An example of the application of the elements of the framework is discussed in this article. Specifically, the article looks at the effects on the following: all users; cyclists; motorists; pedestrians; and public transit.
