LA EMPRESA DE FERROCARRILES DEL ESTADO DE CHILE Y EL DESPERTAR DEL TURISMO NACIONAL: RUTAS Y PAISAJES

Abstract

This study analyzed, in the context of tourism promotion, the content of tourist blurb of "En Viaje" (R.E.V.), magazine of State Railways, between 1933 and 1939. Was suggested that, between those years, the magazine development a tourist blurb for the tourism promotion in Chile. Was establish some backgrounds of tourism and the tourist blurb in Chile, was describe the R.E.V. like a release and blurb and tourist promotion instrument and was analyzed the content of their tourist blurb. The R.E.V. it's a part of initial step to the tourism in Chile. Through their blurb, it promoted tourism, suggested way to materialize and scenes was presented for the year.
