Abstract

This paper focuses on the forgotten victims of financial crimes. It describes the scope and nature of financial crime, the impact of this type of crime, and the need for services to assist victims and their families. It further describes promising approaches to meeting the service needs of financial crime victims and ensuring equal access and protections to members of this underserved group.
