Parâmetros psicométricos do teste gestáltico viso-motor de bender: um estudo empírico

Abstract

Since the Bender test has a wide use in Brazil, this study was meant to check its psychometric properties. The Bender test was applied to 620 6 through 11 years a old children divided into high (Plano Piloto of Brasília, N = 351) and low (Pedregal, N = 269)SES. A factor analysis showed the presence of four factors, which diverge from the Koppitz use of the Bender as an one factor lest. The four factors, however, did not show high internal consistency, which calls for more research on the structure of Bender test. On the other hand, as an one factor test. Koppitz's use of Bender sbowed some difficulties, since several items were not discriminant. In fat, eliminating these itens (reduction from 30 to 22) the test did not Loose its internal consistency. Concurrent validity with VMI and CPM showed high coefficients. Interrreter reliability was 91.
