Library orientation and instruction are drawing considerable attention from Wiscon sin academic librarians today. This became evident during the fall 1972 meetings of the Wisconsin Library Association. As a result, a workshop on this topic was planned under the sponsorship of the Wisconsin Association of Academic Librarians. Over fifty academic li brarians representing twenty-five Wisconsin in stitutions of higher education attended the sessions at the University of Wisconsin? Parkside. Numerous types of orientation and instruction methods were thoroughly discussed and evaluated in terms of the actual experi ences of the participants.
