Historical Education Studies Worldwide Education Systems and Policy Vocational and Entrepreneurial Education

Abstract

Examines the history of apprenticeship, and the movement from apprenticeship to that of industrial education as juvenile labor laws change. Looks at the training and industrial schools that have replaced the practice of apprenticeship, along with social and economic aspects related to these developments.
