Transmedia Architectures of Creation

Abstract

This chapter presents an interview with Ivan Askwith, senior director of digital media at Lucasfilm as well as producer of transmedia narratives and platforms, regarding transmedia architectures of creation. This interview gives insight into how authorship might figure into corporate strategy defined by opportunity cost, management principles, architectures, and discourses, and the value of controlling access.
