Appalachian Studies and Mathematics Autobiographical and Biographical Writing American Literature and Culture

Abstract

Autoethnographic theory is used to explore the Appalachian region and its impact upon the author. Family and personal experiences, scholarly works and primary sources inform the project. The work is an authentic autoethnography about the stories of migration and multiple strategies for making a living and life.
