Diverse Music Education Insights Musicology and Musical Analysis Music Education and Analysis

Abstract

WiUems and Martenot's methods are spread over many countries in which the native language is either Spanish or Portuguese. The researcher compared these two music education methods by applying a revised comparative model to both methods. Rationale from both bibliographies is quoted, some parameters are discussed in detail and a comparative table is included Suggestions for further experimental research are made, especially because these methods lack this kind of testing possibly because they have not been translated into English. The comparative research suggests to the author that both of these methods have solid values relating to the development of aural perception within the large scope of music.
