Abstract

A simple, cost-effective approach to relief system sizing is outlined using DIERS (Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems)-based calorimetry data for vapor, gassy, and hybrid systems. Easy-to-use screening guidelines are provided, eliminating the need for knowing thermophysical properties.
