MELACAK ARSITEKTUR KERATON BANJAR

Abstract

As a big kingdom in the era, Kingdom of Banjar of course had its own heritage in architecture. Unfortunately, the exact location of Keraton Banjar has never been found as well as its form. Therefore, through collaboration among local experts in history, archaeology, and architecture it is expected that the research could reveal the whereabouts.Due to limited artifacts, the effort to trace the real Banjarese architecture is almost impossible. However, many other sources such as history of Daha Kingdom, Kotawaringin, and relief on temples from Majapahit era are believed would be useful in order to find this architecture. Based on the approach a speculative sketch has been produced and considered the most possible Banjarese architecture ever. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Sebagai kerajaan yang besar, Kerajaan Banjar tentunya memiliki peninggalan arsitektural. Diakibatkan minimnya tinggalan arkeologis, upaya melacak arsitektur Keraton Banjar sangat sulit dilaksanakan. Walaupun demikian, upaya masih dapat dilaksanakan melalui berbagai sumber, yaitu; sumber sejarah Kerajaan Negara Daha, sumber sejarah Kotawaringin, sumber sejarah Kerajaan Banjar, dan sumber dari relief candi masa kerajaan Majapahit. Berdasar pendekatan tersebut diperoleh sketsa (bersifat spekulatif) bentuk arsitektural Kraton Banjar. Kata kunci: kerajaan banjar, keraton banjar, tinggalan arkeologis.
