Hearing Impairment and Communication Autism Spectrum Disorder Research Child and Animal Learning Development

Abstract

Signing deaf children who grow up in hearing homes without a fluently signing family member show a selective impairment in theory of mind.Deaf children who grow up with a fluent signer, however, display normal patterns of development in the psychological domain.
