Child and Adolescent Psychosocial and Emotional Development Family Dynamics and Relationships Psychosocial Factors Impacting Youth

Abstract

Research on adolescents and their families has come of age over the past decade. Not only is there more research than ever before, but it is linked to the distinctive cognitive, social, and biological features of adolescence. The domain of investigation needs to be expanded to encompass ethnic families of color and issues of family structure.
