A curriculum development project that sought to infuse gerontological content into three existing educational programs in a school of social work is reported. The goals of the project were to integrate gerontology content into an existing undergraduate curriculum, create a specialized stream at the graduate level, and develop a postprofessional program targeted at the needs of practitioners in a variety of settings in which older clients were served. The project built on the Wendt and Peterson (1993) model of faculty development and employed a community development strategy in moving the school to include gerontology in an already demanding curriculum. Sustainability strategies were viewed as an important part of this project's work.
