Conservation Techniques and Studies Wood Treatment and Properties Cultural Heritage Materials Analysis

Abstract

Experiments comparing rosin and wax with several synthetic resins as well as the use of different solvents are outlined. The application of rosin and wax in trichloroethylene by dropwise injection, brushing or immersion on parts of Cheop's boat and Old Kingdom statues is also presented.
