Abstract

Motivation is an inner drive that activates behaviour and gives it a direction.Motivation is a management tool that managers employ in the process ofachieving organizational objectives. In this paper, the following main issueswere examined; historical perspectives on motivation, motivating the diverseworkforce among others.
