Abstract

This paper is a continuation of the authors' study of the open-ended group. Herein are examined variations in group development in four types of open-ended groups classified by frequency and extent of member change. An earlier paper introducing this study, "Meeting Practice Needs: Conceptualizing the Open-Ended Group," was published in Social Work with Groups, Volume 7, Number 2, Summer 1984.
