Trends and Directions of Management Evaluation of the Public Libraries in Korea

Abstract

최근에 중앙정부의 행정안전부와 문화체육관광부, 광역자치단체인 경기도는 공공도서관의 정책 및 경영실태를 평가하였다. 그러나 이들 평가는 단순한 투입-산출척도에서 더 광범위한 사회경제적 가치를 추계하기 위한 성과평가로 진화하는 국제적 동향에 부합하지 못하고 있다. 이에 주목하여 본 논문은 최근 경영평가의 동향과 한계를 분석하고 중앙정부 및 지방정부가 공공도서관의 사회경제적 가치(영향과 편익)를 산출하기 위한 바람직한 지향성을 제시하였다.
