The restoration and the analysis of metallurgy inclosed in grave n° 163 in Ensérune, allows a thorough study of a whole closed find dating back to the early 3rd century B.C. and allows the comparison of the classifications of black glazed ceramic material with those of classical Celtic warrior weapons. The very quality and variety of this equipment brings back a keen interest for a new and thorough study of the Ensérune necropolis and raises the issue of early and well established trade exchanges with the Celtic world.
