Mazes of meaning: How a child and a culture create each other

Abstract

Emotionally charged dramas form an important part of the socialization of Inuit children. In this study, the process of meaning creation is revealed through a fine-grained and deeply contextualized analysis of a three-year-old's participation in one such drama.
