Abstract

The relationship between Kuder Vocational scale positions obtained by a rank order method, and ranks obtained from the Kuder Preference Record Vocational Form CH Profile Sheet, was found for 39 male psychiatric patients at a Veterans Administration Hospital. Correlations were significantly higher for valid than for invalid Preference Record profiles, approaching the level of Kuder test‐retest reliability. The V scale may reflect in part the confused thinking of neuropsychiatric patients. Validation of this impression must await further research.
