Group work methodology recognizes that single sessions have beginning, middle and ending phases. The ending phase is most neglected. It explores common ways practitioners end sessions, obstacles to implementing sessional endings, benefits purposeful sessional endings have for the individual and group and practice skills needed to conduct these endings.
