Abstract

A sample of 342 secondary school libraries in Israel was studied in order to find which input factors were related to libary use, as indicated by circulation and visits in the library reading room. The study's hypotheses, based on the literature were: there is a relation between the rise of the library and: collection size, total working hours of the library staff, the librarian's professional education, opening hours of the library, and number of seats
