Transports «informels» et adaptations à la métropolisation en Asie du Sud-Est

Abstract

As a result of metropolization, cities in Southeast Asia are now playing a major role as both economic and administrative centres. As the cities adjust to their new urban landscape, so do their transport systems. Transport plays a major role in the integration of individuals and the general community into the workings of the modern economy. The number of systems now in operation are an indication of the scale on which metropolization is taking place.
