Abstract

This work offers a new approach at what it is known as the «Toledo's Translators School», in which, among others, several aspects such as the maecenatism carried out by kings and bishops of the Toledo's See, or the translators work environment, are analyzed. Several accuracies about the unjustified fame of the mediaeval Toledo as a main center of studies of subjects relatad to necromantic and astrologic-divinatory practices are as well analyzed. As a conclusión, there is an overall view about the traslators Job at the time of Alfonso Xth.
