La trascendencia de la educación musical de principios del siglo xx en la enseñanza actual

Abstract

Desde principios del siglo xx han ido surgiendo diferentes metodologías en educación musical que han potenciado su enseñanza, dotándola de un carácter activo, en la que detectamos cierta tendencia a la creación en la práctica desde los primeros representantes de la pedagogía musical. Con el paso del tiempo se han abierto nuevas perspectivas en la enseñanza de la música que brindan al profesorado una mayor libertad para explorar y elegir su propia forma de enseñar, siguiendo las tendencias musicales que van emergiendo en la sociedad. El objetivo de este estudio es revisar las principales metodologías en educación musical de principios del siglo xx , con la finalidad de valorar la contribución que han tenido dichas metodologías en la enseñanza de la música en la actualidad. Since the early twentieth century has led to different methodologies in music education that have enhanced their teaching, giving it an active character, which detect a tendency to create in practice from the earliest representatives of the music pedagogy. With the passage of time have opened new perspectives in music education, providing teachers more freedom to explore and choose their own way of teaching, following the musical trends that emerge in society. The aim of this study is to review the main methodologies in music education from the early twentieth century, in order to assess the contribution that these methodologies have been teaching music today.
