Although the eclecticism of the geographical distribution of Official Development Assistance (ODA) does not seem to change, the priorities of the international system have actually changed, reshaping the aid map of the 21st Century. One of the most relevant phenomenon is the intensification of the immigration flows emitted by developing countries and received by developed countries. However, to-date the influence of immigration on the geographical allocation of aid has been little studied.
