This article presents the results obtained in a study carried out with families at psychosocial risk that received psychosocial interventions from Social Services. Three dimensions of social cohesion were studied: sense of community, attraction, and neighbouring. Moreover, relationships between social cohesion and some indicators of the quality of neighbourhoods (such as access to community services, neighbourhood socioeconomic level, and security level) were tested. We found that parents living in neighbourhoods with more public services available reached higher levels of sense of community and perceived better relations between neighbours. Furthermore, parents living in safer neighbourhoods and neighbourhoods with higher socioeconomic status felt more satisfied with their neighbourhood.
