Abstract

In this paper an inventory model without shortage is considered under fuzzy environment.Our objective is to determine the optimal total cost and optimal order quantity for proposed inventory model.The optimum order quantity is calculated using Signed Distance Method for defuzzification.Cost involved; ordering cost and holding cost considered as fuzzy parameters.The Trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are used to achieve the goal.The proposed model is illustrated numerically.
