O Portal NEXUS – Da Informação ao Conhecimento e o Marketing da Informação na comunidade de alunos da graduação no CBD/ECA/USP

Abstract

Os valores da modernidade e da pós-modernidade, com especial foco para a educação, apresentam-se como cenários atuais, apresentando os impactos que a multimídia, a narrativa não-linear e a internet imprimem ao processo de aprendizagem. Constituem-se em formas alternativas de aprender e apreender o mundo. Considerando que as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TICs) devem ser incorporadas em contextos de ensino-aprendizagem tradicionais para propiciar novas formas de produção do conhecimento, e experiência aos alunos da autoria na Web, tanto individual como coletiva, foi definido e implantado o portal NEXUS – Da Informação ao Conhecimento - http://nexus.futuro.usp.br. O NEXUS correspondeu a um projeto de pesquisa com ambiente virtual de aprendizagem e de prática, iniciado em 2001, nas disciplinas Recursos Informacionais I e II, Orientação Bibliográfica e Estudos de Usuários, do Departamento de Biblioteconomia e Documentação da Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo. Recentemente, em 2007, projeto de Marketing da Informação passou a integrar o NEXUS, em seu ambiente. The impacts of multimedia, non-linear narrative and internet in learning are also presented, modifying in the way learning and understanding happens. Considerations regarding the introduction of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning environments are crucial to develop new ways of knowledge production as well as to promote the experience of web authoring, as individuals and groups. In this context was conceived and developed NEXUS – From Information to Knowledge http://nexus.futuro.usp.br, a portal that constitutes a research project on virtual learning environments. Implemented in 2001, the portal is dedicated to Library and Information Science undergraduate students at the School of Arts and Communications of the University of São Paulo - Brazil. Recently, in 2007, project of Marketing Information was integrated the NEXUS in their environment.
