Although the amount of electronic information pertinent to theological scholarship is growing., there is little published literature about how theological faculty members use and value electronic information. This paper presents a case study. It describes one training program, conducted at the Maryknoll School of Theology, that sheds light on the way that theologians react to new scholarly tools. Participants in the Maryknoll program responded positively to their experiences using electronic information. They found new information pertinent to their interests. The experience raised their opinion about the value of this kind of information and changed their attitudes about finding information.
