Abstract

COUNCIL of the Society of American Archivists met in Chicago on June 26, 1972, to consider the final report of the Committee for the 1970's.1 After having discussed those specific amendments to the constitution that the committee had submitted, the Council endorsed all but two of them. Then the Council itself drew up several amendments to the constitution and bylaws on the basis of the committee's suggestions.
