Abstract

The Hon Sir Anthony Mason AC KBE delivered the inaugural lecture at the National Institute of Government and Law on 20 March, 2002 on 'the Courts and Public Opinion'. He spoke about how the judiciary viewed public opinion and how the judge plays a vital role as the voice of the community.
