Abstract

The article reports on the ethics involved in rational decision making. Moral decisions come after cognitive moral development which includes consequences for an individual's actions and abstract thought relating to justice and reciprocity. However, further research into rational decision making found a relationship between affect and morality which effected ethics. Another model of research into decision making focuses on personal feelings regarding others in moral development as something that can interfere in judgment.
