Social Work Education and Practice Innovations in Medical Education Interprofessional Education and Collaboration

Abstract

Many studies have charted the expansion of social work practice into the health care field, but the opportunities for social workers in medical education are less well explored. Using the results of a recent census, this article presents a comprehensive profile of social workers teaching in medical schools today.
