The article deals with the problem of lack of qualified personnel to work in the spa industry, provides an overview of existing educational programs in this area, described the need to develop specialized programs for Bachelor and Master training in the spa industry in Russia. Implementation of the system of training for the spa industry will establish general requirements for professional knowledge, competencies of employees at all levels improve the quality of spa services, technological regulations for the industry introduce professional standards that regulate level of staff in the spa industry, to develop a certification program for staff in the spa industry to confirm that the level of training of the requirements in the standard of the profession. Development and approval of the professional standards will make legal specialists spa and official position on the labor market in Russia.
