Abstract

The subject of this document Analysis of the Behavior of Public Transport Worldwide, focused on the bus as a mode of public transport. From this point it is understood that it is a study with the objective of getting to know the current state of Public Transport worldwide, through the analysis of essential mobility indicators. In the absence of definitive solutions to the problems of traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and other problems of public transport such as delays, low quality levels. The responsible authorities promote long-term sustainable mobility plans, which is why these types of analyzes based on basic indicators of public transport are necessary to get an idea of ​​the functioning of the different modes of public transport. Under this criterion data were collected: population, motorization, modal split, trips made, travelers-km that are indicators of public transport demand, lines, routes, stops, fleet, vehicles-km, accessibility, commercial speed, quality of service, rates.
