Abstract

The development of modern civilization is marked chiefly by the participate extent of science and technology. Being the important carrier to logos, science and technology has become main content of human culture gradually. Modern culture is based on science and technology. The effects of science and technology to culture are: taking action to matter culture the first, then to system culture, and to idea culture last, thus forming a new value idea and social culture. It is difficult and flexuous for Chinese to insert science and technology in Chinese culture. Rebuilding Chinese traditional culture will be propitious to the development of science and technology, and at the same time to popularize the knowledge of science and technology, to publicize science idea, to build up scientific development idea, are the effectual ways to accelerate harmonious development between science and technology and social culture in the 21st century in China.
