This article analyses the traditional hotel management professional practice pattern in higher vocational colleges and points out all sorts of deficiencies of the traditional practice pattern.The author points out that we must innovate the practice pattern and proposes employment-oriented practice model---strictly choose practice cooperative enterprise,implement shift system and multi-position selection,strengthen practice process management,achieve practice goal,promote students' employment and enhance the competitiveness of the graduates.
